Aaron Welo

Aaron Welo is Of Counsel at Guttman, Buschner & Brooks PLLC where he focuses on False Claims Act litigation and other complex disputes.

Prior to joining GBB, Aaron was a litigator at Burns & Levinson LLP in Boston, Massachusetts, where he focused primarily on plaintiff’s employment and whistleblower matters.  Among other clients, Aaron was counsel of record to Dr. Dennis Burke in his healthcare whistleblower retaliation lawsuit against Massachusetts General Hospital, which led to a $13 million settlement and an offer by MGH to restore Dr. Burke’s privileges. Aaron represented several other clients whose individual employment recoveries exceeded $1 million.

Aaron also represented clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters as an attorney at White & Case LLP in Washington, D.C. and at Thompson Coburn, LLP in St. Louis, Missouri.  Upon moving to Massachusetts in 2016, Aaron also volunteered for several months in the chambers of United States District Court Judge Allison Burroughs.

Aaron graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2010 and received his B.A. in History from Wesleyan University in 2004.
